'Kapperdoes, revision 1' zoning plan goes up for review

A nice milestone for Boord: the draft zoning plan called "Kapperdoes, Revision 1" is going to be available for review.

All studies for the zoning plan and discussions with the municipality have been completed. And that's good news, because that means the draft zoning plan called "Kapperdoes, Revision 1" will be available for review any day now.

After the decision has been made by the Municipal Executive to make the zoning plan available for public inspection, a 6-week public inspection period will follow. During this period, everyone will be given the opportunity to view the zoning plan and respond to it. Depending on the number of reactions, the zoning plan can be presented to the City Council for approval. Once the zoning plan has been adopted, an objection period of 6 to 8 weeks follows in which objections can be submitted. If no objections are filed, the zoning plan can be irrevocable by the end of this year.
